Course suitability: | This training course is suitable for all workplaces but particularly medium to high risk, with 25 or more staff, where staff are spread over large premises or with one or more significant risks e.g. construction industry, industrial and warehousing, schools and colleges, holiday parks, hotels, sports facilities and large offices / retail outlets. Course syllabus: | • Legal aspects • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation • Unconscious casualty (inc. recovery position) • Managing bleeding, burns and minor injuries • Trauma including head injuries, spinal injuries and fractures • Breathing conditions including asthma, choking and hyperventilation • Circulation problems including shock, heart attack, stroke and anaphylaxis • Poisons, epilepsy / seizures and diabetes |

Assessment method: | Trainer assessed practical (with or without written exam dependent upon award/accreditation) |
Maximum attendees: | 12 attendees (industry requirement) |
